Subject to subsection (2), the economic forecasts required by section 26 and the forecast financial statements required by sections 24 and 26 shall include the economic and financial impact of all Cabinet decisions that may have a material effect on the forecasts.
Subsection (1) does not apply to the extent that the chief officer of finance determines, after consultation with the Financial Secretary, that compliance with that subsection will be likely to —
significantly prejudice the economic interests of the Islands;
significantly compromise the Government in any negotiation, litigation or commercial activity; or
result in a significant financial loss to the Government.
