No person other than a prospector acting under and in accordance with the terms of an agreement made under this Law shall, unless thereto specially authorised in writing by the Governor, work, take or bring to shore any abandoned wreck, and where, under the terms of any such agreement, an exclusive licence has been granted to a prospector in respect of a defined area of the sea bed, within the limits of the Islands, no person other than such prospector shall prospect for any abandoned wreck within such defined area.
Whoever contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction to a fine of two thousand dollars and to imprisonment for two years.
