For purposes of this Law, the word "spouse" means a spouse in the context of a marriage as defined in section 2 and related words such as husband and wife shall be construed accordingly and, for the avoidance of doubt, persons living together as husband and wife shall not, unless married formally under the Marriage Law (2010 Revision), be considered to be spouses for purposes of this Law.
