Supervision in exceptional circumstances

Where the Grand Court refuses to make an adoption order then, if it appears to the Grand Court that there are exceptional circumstances making it desirable that the child should be under the supervision of an independent person, the Grand Court may order that the child be under the supervision of the Department or another person.
