Different kinds of punishments and discretion respecting punishment

A court may, subject to this Law, in addition to or as an alternative for a punishment imposed by any other law, impose any of the punishments provided by this Law for any offence.
Notwithstanding subsection (1), a court, where the sentence for an offence is fixed by any law, shall not impose any of the following orders —
a curfew order;
a probation order; or
a suspended sentence supervision order.
