In arbitration proceedings with more than one arbitrator, a decision of the arbitral tribunal shall be made by all or a majority of its members, unless otherwise agreed by the parties.
In the event that no majority decision can be agreed, the parties may agree on the process to be followed in order to arrive at a final binding decision.
The process to be followed pursuant to subsection (2) may include appointing an arbitrator to act as chairman in order to reach a final decision.
A presiding arbitrator, if so authorised by the parties or all members of the arbitral tribunal, may decide any question of procedure.
