64. (1) Unless a contrary intention is expressed, every arbitration agreement shall be deemed to include a provision that the costs of the arbitration shall be in the discretion of the arbitral tribunal.
If no provision is made by an award with respect to the costs of the arbitration, any party to the arbitration may, within fourteen days of the delivery of the award or such further time as the arbitral tribunal may allow, apply to the arbitral tribunal for a direction as to whom such costs shall be paid.
The arbitral tribunal shall, after giving the parties a reasonable opportunity to be heard, amend its award by including therein such directions as it thinks fit with respect to the payment of the costs of the arbitration. Section 65 Arbitration Law, 2012 Page 36 Law 3 of 2012 c
