Powers of Authority

In furtherance of the purposes specified in section 3, the Authority shall have the following powers and rights, in addition to and without prejudice to any other powers conferred by this Law or the Companies Law (2020 Revision) —
(a) to pay, satisfy or compromise any claims made against the Authority;
(b) to consider all questions connected with the business of the Authority and to collect and circulate statistics and other information relating to the business of the Authority; and
(c) to make and amend, from time to time, Rules in accordance with section 29.

The proprietary rights in respect of the statistics and other information referred to in subsection (1)(b) shall be vested exclusively in the Authority.
