Delivery of goods taken in execution but not sold

When the goods of a person have been taken in execution in respect of judgment, and not sold before the bailiff or officer executing the process receives notice of the appointment of a receiver or Trustee under a bankruptcy petition presented against or by such person, such officer shall forthwith, after receipt of the notice, deliver up such goods to the receiver or Trustee, and the costs incurred by such officer in respect of such execution shall be paid out of the property of the debtor.
