Secured creditors, how they may prove

A secured creditor may on giving up that secured creditor’s security prove for that secured creditor’s whole debt, or that secured creditor may prove for any balance due to that secured creditor after realising or giving credit for the value of that secured creditor’s security in manner and at the time prescribed.
A secured creditor not complying with the foregoing conditions shall be excluded from proof.
