The board shall be responsible for —
the governance, policy and performance of the Authority and the general conduct of its affairs and business;
securing the effective implementation of the functions and duties of the Authority;
setting operational priorities with regard to the development of all attractions;
ensuring the effective oversight of the operations of the Authority related to planning, construction, upgrading, rehabilitation or maintenance of all attractions vested in the Authority;
monitoring and evaluating the implementation of strategies, policies, management performance and business plans;
performing such other duties as required for the efficient management of the Authority; and
making such rules as it thinks fit for the regulation of the internal management of the Authority.
