Short title and commencement

1. (1) This Law may be cited as the Children Law (2012 Revision).
This Law came into force on 1st July, 2012 with the exception of —
sections 20 and 21;
sections 72 and 79
Schedule 9; and
paragraph 17 of Schedule 10, which shall come into force on such date as may be appointed by order made by the Governor in Cabinet, and different dates may be appointed for different provisions and in relation to different matters.
