"successors in office" means the persons from time to time having, by appointment by the Roman Pontiff of the Catholic Church, the ecclesiastical powers, authorities, duties and jurisdiction in the Islands of the Roman Catholic Church vested in the Roman Catholic Archbishop of the Cayman Islands.
