Provision in respect of marriage officers

A person granted a licence as a marriage officer under the Marriage Law (2010 Revision) is not authorised to formalise a civil partnership unless the person is also appointed as a Civil Registrar or a civil partnership officer under this Law.
No person may compel a marriage officer appointed under the Marriage Law (2010 Revision) to permit the use of any place of worship under the control of the marriage officer for the formalisation of a civil partnership.
