Registrar may require information

23. (1) The Registrar may, for the purpose of completing or rectifying the registration of any civil partnership, require any person —
who is required by this Law to give any notice or statement relating to the civil partnership; or
who may reasonably be expected to have knowledge of the true facts relating to the civil partnership, to make any written declaration or to give any information within the person’s knowledge relating to the civil partnership, and to attend at the office of the Registrar-General for the purpose of making the declaration or giving the information.
If the Registrar thinks fit, the Registrar may require any such declaration or information to be made or given on oath.
