Functions of Board

The functions of the Board shall be to make decisions and orders in relation to —
the release of prisoners on licence, except for prisoners sentenced to detention at the court's pleasure;
the conditions of a licence, including the variation and cancellation of conditions;
the suspension of a licence;
the revocation of a licence;
deferral of certain cases for consideration at a later date with specific requirements; and
any other matter related to the release on licence or revocation of the licence of a prisoner.
The Board may establish such committees as it considers necessary or expedient and consult with such other agencies as it thinks fit.
