Return of Bills by the Governor

Where the Governor decides to return any Bill to the Legislative Assembly when it is presented for his or her assent, he or she shall do so within 60 days of receiving it, transmitting with it any amendments which he or she may recommend and the reasons for them, and the Assembly shall consider such recommendation.
The Governor shall inform the Speaker as soon as practicable that he or she intends to return a Bill in pursuance of subsection (1).
