Qualifying criminal investigations

For the purposes of this Part, a qualifying criminal investigation is a criminal investigation conducted by the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service or any other investigative authority wholly or in part with a view to ascertaining —
whether a person should be charged with a qualifying offence; or
whether a person charged with a qualifying offence is guilty of it.
