Establishment and constitution of Central Planning Authority

For the purposes of this Act there is established a body of persons to be called the Central Planning Authority, exercising such functions throughout the Islands as are hereinafter assigned to it.
The Authority shall consist of a Chairperson, a Deputy Chairperson and eleven other members (one of whom shall be a member of the Board) appointed by the Cabinet.
A Development Control Board is established for the Islands of Cayman Brac and Little Cayman consisting of a Chairperson, a Deputy Chairperson and five other members who shall be appointed by the Cabinet.
An executive secretary for each body shall be appointed by the Cabinet.
Subject to this section, the constitution and procedure of the Authority and Board shall be in accordance with Schedule 1.
Every member of the Authority or Board (not being a Government employee) is entitled to receive out of the Treasury the appropriate sum for attendance at any meeting of the Authority or Board payable quarterly upon the certificate of the Chairperson of either body as to the number of attendances of each member.
