This section applies to proceedings before the Drug Court in the exercise of its jurisdiction under this Law.
Proceedings before the Drug Court are to be conducted —
in accordance with the directions of the Judge or magistrate presiding in the proceedings; and
subject to paragraph (a), with as little formality and technicality and with as much expedition, as the requirements of the Law, the regulations, the rules and the proper consideration of the matters before the Drug Court permit.
The procedure of the Drug Court shall not be vitiated by reason of any failure to observe relevant rules of evidence.
The Drug Court may adjourn its proceedings from time to time.
