Application of Part II

For the purposes of this Part, it is declared that where an employee is on probation —
his leave shall accrue but he shall not be entitled to take it until the probation is over;
he shall not be entitled to take parental leave but the period for which he is on probation shall, once he is confirmed, be computed for the purposes of determining whether or not he is entitled to parental leave.
