Persons playing in, or being found in a common gaming house

A person who plays in a common gaming house commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of ten dollars or to imprisonment, with or without hard labour, for two months.
A person found in a common gaming house, or found escaping therefrom on the occasion of its being entered under this Law, shall be presumed, until the contrary be proved, to be, or to have been playing therein.
