Possession of Crown lands in Governor

The possession and right of possession of and in all lands, tenements, or hereditaments now held in trust for, or to the use of Her Majesty the Queen, for the benefit of the people of the Islands, or charged to such absolute use or benefit, may be recovered, maintained, asserted and defended with the sanction and in the name of the Governor of the Cayman Islands, in like manner, and for all intents and purposes at law or in equity, as he is hereby authorised and empowered in respect to all lands, tenements and hereditaments vested or to become vested in him in trust as aforesaid.
