Cabinet to issue general policy directions

The Cabinet may give general policy directions in writing to the Registrar in the exercise and performance of the Registrar's duties as appear to the Cabinet to be necessary in the public interest.
The Registrar shall give effect to the general policy directions given by the Cabinet under subsection (1).
