Nothing in this Law derogates from any provision of the Immigration Law (2009 Revision) relating to gainful occupation licences.
A person who is licensed under this Law shall not be required to be licensed under the Local Companies (Control) Law (2007 Revision) or the Trade and Business Licensing Law (2007 Revision).
This Law has no application to or effect upon —
governmental pension arrangements;
the validity of policies of insurance in existence at the date of coming into effect of this Law;
the Friendly Societies Law (1998 Revision); or
pecuniary loss insurance provided by banks licensed under the Banks and Trust Companies Law (2009 Revision).
