Qualifications required to take on an articled clerk

An attorney-at-law —
who has been admitted as a legal practitioner in any jurisdiction for at least seven continuous years; and
who has held a Cayman Islands practising certificate for at least five years,
may take a person with the prescribed qualification into that attorney-at-law's service as an articled clerk.
An attorney-at-law who has two or more articled clerks in that attorney-at-law's service may not take any additional articled clerk into that attorney-at-law's service without the written approval of the Council.
