86. (1) If any conduct of an attorney-at-law is being investigated by the Council, the Court may make an interim order that the attorney-at-law be suspended from practice until the investigation has been completed and any subsequent order made by the Disciplinary Tribunal under section 84 has come into effect.
If the investigation is into the alleged misuse of a trust fund by the attorney-at- law, the Court, on the application of the Council, may make an order that, until the investigation has been completed and any subsequent order made by the Disciplinary Tribunal under section 84 has come into effect, a trust fund operated by the attorney-at-law shall be operated by an accountant or a bank approved by the Council.
