False or misleading information

A person shall not knowingly or wilfully provide false or misleading information in an application, notification, notice or filing under this Act.
A person who contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of twenty-five thousand dollars or to imprisonment for a term of five years, or to both.
