Penalty on failure to comply with notice

If the holder of any prospecting or mining right, water right or right of passageway, or his agent, fails to comply with the requisition of any notice given under section 50, or with the decision of the Governor when an objection has been determined, he is guilty of an offence and liable on summary conviction before two Justices to a fine of two thousand dollars or to imprisonment with hard labour for one year.
