This Act binds the Crown.
Subject to subsection (3), this Act applies to any record whether created before or after the commencement of this Act.
Nothing in this Act applies to any record relating to the service of the Crown in respect of the Government of the United Kingdom, if the record (whether in an electronic or other medium) is held by the person for the time being holding the position of Governor of the Islands.
