37. (1) Where, on the application of the Director acting on the advice of the Attorney General, it appears to the court that a person has done or is about to do or is likely to do any act constituted or directed towards the commission of an offence under this Law, the court may issue an injunction ordering any person named in the application — National Conservation Law, 2013 Section 38 c Law 24 of 2013 Page 43
to refrain from doing any act that the court considers may constitute or be directed towards the commission of an offence under this Law; or
to do any act that the court considers may prevent the commission of an offence under this Law.
The court may refuse to issue an injunction under subsection (1) if forty-eight hours notice has not been given to the person named in the application unless the urgency of the situation is such that the service of the notice would not be in the public interest.
