The Governor may, for good reason, revoke, by Proclamation published in the Gazette, the declaration of a person as a National Hero.

Where a Proclamation is made under subsection (1) the Governor may take such other action as is appropriate in the circumstances to withdraw the recognition of the person as a National Hero.
