Inspection of administrator's documents

Within thirty days of a written request, an administrator shall make available the prescribed documents and information in respect of a pension plan and the pension fund for inspection without charge to —
a member;
a former member;
the spouse or civil partner or former spouse or former civil partner of a member or former member;
the member's or former member's civil partner or former civil partner where the civil partnership is dissolved or annulled;
a claimant;
any other person entitled to pension benefits under the pension plan;
an agent authorised in writing by a person mentioned in paragraph (a), (b), (c), (ca), (d) or (e);
an employer who is or was required to make contributions to the pension plan;
a receiver or trustee in bankruptcy of an employer referred to in paragraph (g); and
such other person as may be prescribed.
The prescribed documents and information may be inspected at the premises of the employer of a member or former member or at such other location agreed upon by the administrator and the person making the request.
A person inspecting the documents may copy the documents or purchase from the administrator, at a reasonable fee, copies of the documents.
A person described in paragraphs (a) to (g) of subsection (1), may not make a request under this section more than once in any six months unless the documents have been changed or amended during the course of the six month period.
For the avoidance of doubt, only a person mentioned in subsection (1) shall be entitled to inspect the documents referred to in subsection (1).
