28. (1) An active member of a pension plan brought into existence after the 1st June, 1998 who meets the qualifications in subsection (2) is entitled to the benefit mentioned in subsection (3).
The qualifications are that the member must —
be a member of a pension plan on or after the 1st June, 1998; and
have terminated membership of a plan before the normal pension entitlement date. Section 29 National Pensions Act (2024 Revision) Page 34 Revised as at 31st December, 2023 c
The benefit is a deferred pension provided under the pension plan in respect of employment after the 1st June, 1998.
