Revenue and resources of Authority

23. (1) The revenue and resources of the Authority shall be comprised of —
such monies as may be appropriated by law for the purposes of the Authority, including those from the Road Fund;
road user charges collected by the Authority in accordance with section 22;
gifts or bequests received by the Authority in accordance with section 27;
other monies paid and property provided to the Authority by way of grants, rent, interest and other income derived from the investment of the Authority’s funds;
monies derived from the disposal of or dealing with real or personal property held by the Authority;
monies borrowed by the Authority in accordance with this Act; and
any property lawfully received or made available to the Authority.
Subject to this Act, monies appropriated by the Cayman Islands Parliament for the purposes of the Authority, any income derived from fees and any other Section 24 National Roads Authority Act (2024 Revision) Page 20 Revised as at 31st December, 2023 c income of the Authority shall be held and applied to furthering the purposes of the Authority in such manner as the Authority may think fit.
Monies appropriated by the Cayman Islands Parliament for the purposes of the Authority shall be applied by the Authority in accordance with the terms of the appropriation.
