Maintenance order

On making a protection order, an occupation order or a tenancy order, the court may at the same time and of its own volition or at the instance of an applicant, make an order in accordance with the provisions of the Maintenance Act (1996 Revision), for the maintenance of any prescribed person entitled to be maintained by the respondent if no such order for maintenance is already in force.
The duration of an order for maintenance under this section shall not exceed the duration of a protection order, an occupation order or a tenancy order.
