Prohibition of treatment by unqualified persons

No person other than a medical practitioner shall treat or attempt to treat any patient for a sexually transmitted disease or recommend any internal or external medicine, medicament or appliance for the cure or alleviation of a sexually transmitted disease.
Whoever contravenes subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of one hundred dollars and to imprisonment for three months.
