Obligation of occupier of premises

The occupier of premises shall give to the Chief Environmental Health Officer forthwith notice in writing if it comes to the knowledge of such occupier that rats or mice are living on, or resorting to, that person's premises.
Whoever fails to give a notice which that person is required to give under subsection (1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of fifty dollars.
