Appointment of inspectors and secretary to the Commission

The chief officer of the Ministry presided over by the Minister shall appoint, in accordance with the Public Service Management Act (2018 Revision) —
a Chief Inspector;
such additional inspectors as are necessary for the enforcement of this Act, and
a secretary to the Commission,
as if the positions to which they are appointed were within the chief officer's Ministry.
The secretary shall record the proceedings of the meetings of the Commission and assist the Commission and Chief Inspector in the administration and enforcement of this Act.
Under the direction of the chief officer, the Chief Inspector and inspectors shall enforce this Act and exercise the powers conferred on them under this Act.
