A court shall not entertain any proceedings for questioning the number of ballot papers or votes cast in the referendum as certified by the Supervisor based on returns as certified by the returning officers, unless the proceedings are brought in accordance with this section.
The proceedings shall be brought by a claim for judicial review, filed in the Grand Court before the end of the permitted period.
In subsection (2), the "permitted period" means the period of six weeks commencing with —
the date on which a certificate as to the matters mentioned in subsection (1) is given by the Supervisor; or
if there is more than one such certificate, the date on which the last such certificate is given.
