Vicarious liability of registrant

Every registrant shall ensure that his servants, agents and other persons under his control comply with the provisions of this Law and where such person is guilty of an offence against this Law the registrant shall be taken also to have committed such offence and is liable to the same penalty as is prescribed for the principal offence whether or not he was present at the time of the commission of the offence.
In this section "person under his control", in relation to a registrant, includes —
a person to whom he has leased the registered premises or delegated control thereof; and
a servant, agent or person under the control of a person referred to in paragraph (a).
