An application for a licence to import or export an animal, carcass or biological product of any animal may be made in writing to the Director giving particulars of the animal and of its present whereabouts and the means of transport by which it is proposed to be imported or exported.
An application for a licence under subsection (1) shall be accompanied by the prescribed application fee.
