Distrainer to care for animals during detention by the distrainer

A distrainer shall properly water, feed and care for any animal while it is detained by the distrainer and shall be liable in damages for any neglect of such animal. Where such animal appears to be suffering from any notifiable disease, the distrainer shall report the matter to the nearest police station without delay.
