There is established an Animal Welfare Advisory Committee for the purposes set out in this Act.
The Committee consists of —
the Director or the Director's designate who shall be chairperson; and
five other members appointed by the Minister subject to such terms and conditions as the Minister may determine and who shall be selected as follows —
one member from the Cayman Humane Society;
one member from the Cayman Horse Association;
one member from the Agricultural Society;
one member from the Royal Cayman Islands Police Force; and
one member from the general public who has demonstrated an interest in animal welfare.
