Where the debtor refuses or neglects to do any act in reference to the recovery, sale or transfer of, or otherwise dealing with, any property remaining in the debtor under this Act in trust for the debtor’s creditors, for twenty-four hours after the debtor has been required by the receiver or Trustee to do the same, the Court may, on application by the receiver or Trustee, by order authorise such act to be done in the name of the debtor, or otherwise by any person named in the order for that purpose, and every act done by such person shall be as effectual for all purposes as if the debtor had done the same, and shall not be revocable or impeachable by the debtor.
