What the property of the debtor comprises

The property of the debtor divisible amongst the debtor’s creditors and vesting in the Trustee (and in this Act referred to as the property of the debtor) shall comprise —
all such property as may belong to or be vested in the debtor at the commencement of the bankruptcy or may be acquired by or devolve on the debtor at any time previous to the debtor’s discharge;
the capacity to exercise and to take proceedings for exercising all such powers in or over or in respect of property as might have been exercised by the debtor for the debtor’s own benefit at the commencement of the bankruptcy, or at any time previous to the debtor’s discharge; and
all goods and chattels being at the commencement of the bankruptcy in the possession order or disposition of the debtor by the permission of the true owner, of which goods and chattels the debtor is reputed owner, or of which the debtor has taken upon themself the sale or disposition as owner, provided that things in action, other than debts due or growing due to the debtor, shall not be deemed goods and chattels within the meaning of this section,
and shall not comprise —
property held by the debtor in trust for any other person; or
the tools, if any, of the debtor’s trade, and the necessary wearing apparel and bedding of the debtor, the debtor’s spouse and children to a value, inclusive of tools and apparel and bedding, not exceeding sixty dollars in the whole.
