Committal to prison

Where the Court commits any person to prison, the committal may, unless otherwise prescribed, be to such convenient prison as the Court thinks expedient; and if the Prison Dirctor of any prison refuses to receive any prisoner so committed, that Prison Dirctor shall be liable, for every such refusal, to a penalty of two hundred dollars.
