Detention of persons arrested without warrant

An authorised officer arresting any person without a warrant shall without unnecessary delay deliver over the person so arrested to a police officer or, in the absence of a police officer, shall take the person to the nearest police station and the provisions of the Police Act (2021 Revision) shall apply.
