Certificate of judgment of Court

34. Every judgment of the Court shall be certified by the Registrar, under the seal of the Court, to the Clerk of the Grand Court, who shall enter the same on the original record in proper form; and a certificate of such entry under the hand of the Clerk of the Grand Court, in such form as may be prescribed by the Judge of the Grand Court, with any necessary alterations to adapt it to the circumstances of any particular case, shall be delivered or transmitted by the Clerk of the Grand Court to the gaoler or officer in whose custody any person convicted may be. Such certificate shall be a sufficient warrant to such gaoler or officer and all other persons for the execution of the judgment, as the same is so certified to have been affirmed or amended, and execution shall be thereupon executed upon such judgment, and for the discharge of the person convicted from imprisonment if the judgment is reversed, avoided or arrested, and in such case the gaoler or officer shall forthwith discharge the person, and any recognisance of bail shall be vacated and the Grand Court, if directed to give any judgment, shall proceed to give judgment at the next session.
