Service of notices

Any notice or other document which is required or authorized by or under this Law or by or under any order or instruction made or issued thereunder to be given or served on any person may, in any case for which no other provision is made by this Law, be given or served —
by delivering it to that person's last known address or by email or other electronic mailing method;
in the case of the Governor, the Deputy Governor, the Board, the Minister the office of the Defence Medical Officer, by leaving it at the office of the Deputy Governor or sending it by prepaid letter addressed to the appropriate authority at the office of the Deputy Governor;
in the case of any other person, by leaving it or by sending it in a prepaid letter addressed to the person, at the person's usual or last known place of residence; or
in the case of a corporate body or other body of persons, other than those mentioned in paragraph (b), by delivering it to the secretary or clerk thereof at their registered or principal office, or by sending it in a prepaid letter addressed to the secretary or clerk at that office.
